Do VHS tapes expire?
Unfortunately, VHS tapes won't last forever and will degrade over time.
After 25 years, cassettes can deteriorate and even become unreadable.
This degradation will affect the quality of the image and sound.
What is included in the service?

Converting the cassette(s) to .mp4 format.

We will identify the video(s) with a mini description.

We will transfer the video(s) to a USB key (first USB key included in the price: 5 tapes minimum).

We will then give you the USB key and your cassette(s).
What tape formats do you support?
We are converting VHS formats for now but other formats are coming soon!
Can you guarantee digital conversion?
Please note that we do not guarantee the success of converting VHS tapes. Some cassettes may already be too damaged or fragile to convert. Formatiq cannot be held responsible for loss of data or damage to cassettes during the conversion process. However, we will do our best!
